If you know anything about the Cleveland Indians, or have been following them this year, you know that they have struggled severly. After starting out the season with a great 11-1 start, the Indians have fallen to 41-49, and in 3rd place in the AL Central; 10.5 games back of the Minnesota Twins.

At the beginning of the season, General Manager Mark Shapiro said that the Indians were entering a “rebuilding” process this season. After the 11-1 start, fans started getting their hopes up, and now they are facing reality.

The Indians have a chance to gain some ground, however, in their next four games. They play the Chicago White Sox Monday and Tuesday in a 2 game series, and the Minnesota Twins Wednesday and Thursday, also in a 2 game series. This is a good chance for Indians fans to come out and support their team. They have been doing a good job of it all season long, but now is the time to really get into it. If the Indians can put a sweep against those two teams, the worst they can be is 8.5 back out of the lead, which is do-able. The Indians are coming off of a good series against the Yankees, and need to take advantage of this upcoming series with the Chi Sox and Twins.

So Indians fans: Take this opportunity to see the beauty of Indians baseball, and Jacobs Field, and support the Tribe in this very important series. Tickets still remain!
