Mid-Inning Relief Podcast — The Fifteenth One: Is It Time For The Giants To Rebuild? (Feat. Andrew Baggarly)

Andy Baggarly joins the podcast this week! In Episode 15 of Mid-Inning Relief, Marty Lurie, Carmen Kiew, and Ally Williams welcome the The Athletic’s Giants beat writer and author to the pod. They go over whether the San Francisco Giants need to rebuild, if they should re-sign Madison Bumgarner, and the 2019 schedule.

They also discuss the growing problem of concussions and their toll on both player and family, and on a lighter note, who would take bets a la Scott Servais, who got a haircut matching Edwin Diaz after the closer recorded his 50th save this season.

In minor league notes, Baggarly (@extrabaggs on Twitter) goes over his recent trip to Salem and his article about Joey Bart in the Athletic, as well as some notes on Sean Hjelle and other young pitchers on the Volcanoes.
