So good to hear Bruce McGowan on your show. I always enjoyed him on KNBR. He is very knowledgeable and listens to callers unlike other KNBR personalities. Does nice interviews never fawning all over stars. No wonder KNBR let him go. If you don’t drool over every Giant out there, they don’t want you on the air it seems.

Marty-Bruce was a little tentative(and fawning of you) on your show, but I’d like to thank you also. I miss Bruce. He was a positive influence in sports, let alone sport talk.You have an even hand and can see the total picture (especially within the six months of emotional highs and lows that is baseball). Bruce asked thoughtful questions, not attacks.
Love to listen to your show whenever reception is available in this hamlet on the border of three stations. I’m glad that when the O’Malleys sold the Dodgers, that I chose the A’s over the Giants as the replacement
for my childhood team of 40+ years. To be able to grow with young player that have five years with the club seemed better than Barry(although the best was yet to come), Dusty and a bunch of free agents. Your show, Weekend Wash, and all the others more than make up for missing John Miller. Ken has really come on in the last few years, and you saw him arrive when he felt comfortable enough to jest with his hero, Bill King.
