Inside Baseball Show

Here is the show from Friday, January 13th in four separate MP3 files. My guests on the show are Shooty Babitt, Glenn Dickey, Tyler Bleszinski from Athleticsnation.com, and new A’s play by play voice Vince Cotroneo. If this format works I’ll try to put next Thursday’s show on the site too. Please let me know what you think of the format (workable, easy to download, etc. in the comments section).

Fantastic! Thank you so much Marty. The format worked fine for me. I guess it would be best to put combine the files into one large one (or at least have that option), but that is no big deal. Thanks again.

I just listened to the segment with the new A’s broadcaster. Thanks so much for putting your show on this website. it gives those of us who didn’t get a chance to hear the show live — or those who can’t get 1550 AM — to hear it.

by the way, I actually liked having it divided into segments, rather than having to listen to the whole thing at once. (I had heard the earlier part live). perhaps if you keep it divided you could just briefly summarize the guest or topic for that segment?

However you decide to manage it, it’s a great addition. Thanks!

Fantastic Marty! And so well appreciated. I live across the country so can’t listen to the shows locally like i would love too! Thanks Again! Larry
(i did have a question if you could please let
me know, i tried all last year to hear “Right Off
the Bat Live”, i love the show! But for some reason, i kept getting a message that said “not currently available, tune back at right time”, and i know for
certain i was trying to listen at right time. Can you
please email me for suggestion? (iwininwv@yahoo.com) Thank You So Much!

If you subscribe to MLB’s baseball package you should be able to receive Right Off The Bat. For some reason MLB has not been consistent having the show on each day. I do e mail them the schedule each month. Perhaps I should change the link on the home page and just let everyone know that the show “might” be available through MLB.
I really appreciate the comments about having the shows on the site through an MP3 download.
If it isn’t too labor intensive I’m going to see if we can continue to at least have the winter shows posted each week.

Thanks for this feature. It is hard for me to find the show when it is broadcast. I appreciate being able to listen later.

I want to add my appreciation as an out of town fan for having your radio show available via the web. I found last year that your saturday shows were some of the best sources of insight into the game of baseball in general and of the A’s.

After having to leave town, I have come to appreciate how good we have in the Bay Area with quality of the team, sports journalism, and the announcers. Bill King really spoiled me. It was always such a treat listening to him and appreciating his wonderful delivery.

Thanks so much Marty. Keep up the good work for us poor fans stuck in towns wo such exciting and obviously contending teams. Go A’s.

Andy thanks for the kind words. I’m down here at the A’s Fantasy Camp (Arizona) for one week, then back home and in full swing for the season. This year I’ll be broadcasting Right Off The Bat from Arizona beginning with the A’s first broadcast on March 4th.
We should have yesterday’s Inside Baseball Show on MP3 on the site hopefully later today.
