Inside Baseball Thursday

Inside Baseball airs this Thursday at 4 PM Pacific from Fenton’s Creamery in Oakland.

Shooty Babitt and I will have Cubs manager Dusty Baker, A’s manager Ken Macha, and A’s play by play voice Ken Korach on the show. Carl Foster will preview Cal Arizona State too.

If you are in Northern California you can hear the show on 1550 AM KYCY.

Also, I’ll try to put the show on the home page again as soon as possible in an MP3 format.

I thank Alma and Jeff for getting that done last week.

Marty,

Thanks again for these podcast, it’s good to hear The Kens: Macha and Korach. Also, Shooty is always funny guy and smart Baseball man. Since this year, the scheduling don’t allow you or Shooty to be at FanFest, I wondering if an Inside Baseball Winter Edition at FanFest for next year or any other year? It would be great to you and Shooty at FanFest. It won’t have to be at East Side Club, it could be at West Side Club or the Irish Pub.

Good Luck at Fantasy Camp,
Edgar Martinez, A’S Fan

I appreciate the comments as usual. This week if all the connections work we’ll have Inside Baseball from Phoenix Muni Thursday night at 6 PM Pacific on 1550 AM. Shooty should be with me if he’s done with his golf game, if not I’ll round up some surprises from Arizona.

I can’t wait for the season. Do you think we will have an new radio home for the A’s by Fanfest.

Marty:
I’d like to express my appreciation for your podcasts on your website. Since the baseball show is on at odd times, i sometimes forget to program my radioshark to record the show.

Since your show is obviously the best baseball show hands down in the Bay Area, i hate to miss any of them!

p.s. Not sure how to set it up, but being able to subscribe to your podcasts would be terrific!

KYOU is supposed to set up podcasts that can be recorded, so far it hasn’t happened, but maybe it will during the season then we can have a regular spot to find the show.
Until then thanks to Alma Chao and Jeff Margrave we can at least have Inside Baseball on our website.
I must say I enjoy listening to the rebroadcast especially being down here in Phoenix for the week.
Fantasy Camp starts Monday and the key is no injuries!!

Ok Marty, we’re a week away from the first of February and still no radio announcement.

Not that this does much now, but do you think that HD Radio will play a role in the A’s radio plans soon? I’m thinking particularly if Infinity powerhouse KCBS 740 intends to do any multi-casting. (I read that they were set up for HD) Heck, that would put us up there with KNBR for coverage.

Now if they can just get the price of those recievers down. But this all reminds me of when FM was starting to go mainstream in the 70’s and stations like K101 were offering converters to attach to AM car radios.
