Hopefully, you will come back soon because everybody interested on your opinions about Sammy and his corked bat at Wrigley. Northern California Baseball fans want to know.
it will be interesting to see your comments regarding what I consider a fairly dismal road
show. The a’s are now 8 game back of the mariners. The mariners will come back to the pack but right now are piling up win after win. the a’s,on the other hand are scuffling and after the big 3, the pitching is not all that terrific. the oakland guys need a big bat that
can produce. is there any one out there that
they can get that will fill the bill? the a’s now have the braves, expos and giants coming in
they cannot afford to lose to these teams.
now, part 2. I am looking forward to your recap of events in philadelphia. how was
A big bat? The A’s don’t need a big bat. Where would he play? We already have a DH. It’d be nice to get an outfielder with some pop, but noone is going to take Dye. Do the A’s dump Dye? No team, let alone the A’s, could afford to do that. Hopefully, Dye manages to hit around .250 with around 20 homers for the year. Mcmillon should be getting playing time ahead of Long also. That’d help the offense.
