The story Razor Shines (what a name!) told about facing Lee Smith in his first big league at bat was classic. "Oh lord, I must be in the big leagues now." I love that quote.
Also, sounds like your son is ready for the prime time. Good to know the A’s broadcasting team has a crop of up-and-comers that can to step in just case the need presents itself.

P.S. Any progress with fighting the traffic tickets. I’m just got one myself and am wondering if it’s worth the trouble to fight it. I don’t think signs were properly displayed in my case (I took an illegal turn)
